Helping You Navigate the ITIN Application with Ease and Transparency

If you need to ship your documents to us, we will return them to you using the same method, and you must include a prepaid shipping envelope when sending them to us.

Our Process: Step-by-Step Guidance for Your ITIN Application

We aim to make the ITIN application as straightforward as possible. Here’s a look at our simple, client-focused process:

  1. Initial Consultation (Free)

    • We start with a free, brief, 15-minute initial consultation. During this consultation, we discuss your situation, answer any questions, and explain the ITIN application process. It can be conducted via phone, virtually, or in person—whatever works best for you.
    • During this time, we will discuss the types of documents you have and identify what specific documentation you will need for your application. We will not review any documents at this stage.
  2. Engagement and Payment

    • To engage our services, we will provide you with an engagement letter outlining the required services. Upon signing the engagement letter, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
    • The remaining balance must be paid in full before we send the application to the IRS and provide you with the final copy requiring your signature.
  3. Document Review and Preparation

    • After the engagement letter is signed, we provide you with a detailed list of the required documents specific to your circumstances, including valid identification and proof of foreign status.
    • You will provide our office with all required documents.
    • As a Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA), we will verify your original documents, such as passports, so you don’t have to send them to the IRS. But to authenticate these documents, we must have them physically in our hands at our office.
    • If you cannot come in person, you must securely ship the documents to usTo ensure the safety of your important documents, we generally recommend a shipping service that provides expedited service and tracking, such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS. You must also include a prepaid return shipping envelope for our office to return your documents to you once we have completed the review.
    • Our team will then review your documents to ensure they meet IRS requirements. 
    • Timeframe: Once we receive your documents, this typically takes 2-3 business days.
  4. Application Preparation

    • We prepare and complete Form W-7 on your behalf, ensuring all information is accurate and aligns with IRS guidelines. We will also thoroughly review and include any accompanying tax returns or documentation supporting your application.
    • Additional Tax Return Preparation: If necessary, we can prepare your tax return as part of the ITIN application process. This is a separate service with its own cost in addition to the CAA fee. We will discuss this option with you during the consultation if required.
    • Coordination of Signatures: We coordinate obtaining the required ‘wet’ ink hand signatures on the application. Whether you can come into the office or need to rely on shipping, we will make this process as smooth and efficient as possible.
    • Timeframe: Application preparation usually takes 3-4 business days.
  5. Submission and Tracking

    • Once your application is ready, we will submit it to the IRS on your behalf, confirm your submission, and begin monitoring its status.
    • We handle all communication with the IRS, ensuring any issues or requests for additional information are promptly addressed.
    • Returning Your Documents: We will return your original identification documentation using the same method you provided. If you shipped the documents, we will use the prepaid shipping envelope you included to ensure a secure return.
    • Timeframe: The IRS processing time for ITIN applications is typically 7-11 weeks, depending on the time of year. We will keep you updated throughout this period.
  6. Notification and Follow-Up

    • Once the IRS processes your application, we’ll notify you of the outcome and guide you through using your ITIN for your tax filings.
    • If your application is rejected, we will work with you to identify the issue, make corrections, and resubmit as needed.

Our Costs: Transparent, Flat-Rate Pricing

We believe in upfront, transparent pricing, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. Our ITIN service fees cover the entire process, from document review to application submission and follow-up.

  • ITIN Application (New or Renewal): $400

    • This includes the initial consultation, document verification, preparation and submission of Form W-7, and tracking.
    • Covers the certified postage delivery cost from our office to the IRS.
    • It also includes direct communication with the IRS on your behalf and application follow-up to address any issues or requests for additional information.
  • Remote Service Fee:  $125 

    •  If the service is conducted remotely, an additional $125 will be applied to cover the multiple logistical challenges, including shipping coordination, document handling, further processing, managing time zone differences, and ensuring the secure and timely return of original documents.
  • Application Resubmission (If Needed): $100

    • If an ITIN application requires resubmission due to changes or IRS rejection, we provide this service at a reduced rate.

Note: Prices are based on the complexity of the application. We will discuss your needs during the initial consultation to determine your appropriate service.

If the matter is of the essence and the application needs to be shipped to the IRS faster than our 'normal process, there will be an urgency charge of $125
